The door of Morrigan's 'office' - and she hadn't been aware she had one - had a simple note and map on it, directing people to her home.

If anyone had been there during its unoccupied state, they would find it much changed. The wood walls had been scrubbed down and sealed with new pine resin, there was a stone firepit out back, and a beehive that was preparing for winter. A few chickens even ran around, seemingly unconcerned that their mistress was a witch.

Inside a fire blazed merrily in the stone hearth, and Morrigan had put fresh rushes on the roof, and built a small loft for her bedroll, the main space reserved for the kitchen and her meager library. It was suitable for receiving visitors, in her estimation, and she did not like being surrounded by the walls of the school. She preferred to meet unknown guests on her own territory, so it pleased her.

But, point of fact, she was at home, should the parents of any of her pupils come searching.

In the wooded, unexplored area of Fandom Island, somewhere between the Onsen and the Gig, was an abandoned hut. The previous owner had left it a long time ago, and now it sat in benign neglect, silent but for the sound of the occasional woodland creature.

T'would not remain so for long.

There was a faint gleam of a will-o'-wisp glimmering faintly in the dark, which steadily grew closer and stronger. It hovered by a moment by the front door, as if waiting, until a hooded figure stepped into the light.

"....t'will do," a female voice announced, and Morrigan pushed back her hood to properly survey the property. "I have no need of castles and fancy things, these small Wilds shall suffice for now." She glanced up at some of the crows gathered in the trees, and made a shooing motion. "Go. You may tell my mother that all is well, and I have safely arrived. While I doubt she is worried, 'tis best to make sure courtesies are observed."

It wasn't until the last one had flown away that Morrigan waved a hand and the door opened, witchlight darting ahead of her. Now it was time to get a fire going, and see what work needed to be done to make it habitable for the evening. Major repairs would have to wait until morning, but Morrigan was actually looking forward to it.

Perhaps she would give these local villagers something to fear, when they heard of a Witch in their Wilds.
